Bar

The traditional bar area at The Rams Head Inn is a comfortable and welcoming meeting point for the local community and visitors to the area. There is also a cosy lounge area with both a solid fuel stove and a real fire. Relax with a drink by the fire on our soft leather sofas or wing backed armchairs.

The bar serves 6 different cask ales, is Cask Marque accredited for real ale quality and the bar staff are ABCQ trained in keeping and serving a perfect pint. We also offer a strong selection of draught lagers, super-chilled draught lagers, cider and smooth flow bitter. There are ten delicious wines available by the glass, and the house spirits are premium brands served in 35ml measures for improved taste and value for money.

Well behaved dogs are welcome in the bar area, and the atmosphere is informal, so there is no need to worry about how smarty dressed you are.

There is a purpose built covered and heated outdoor smoking area. There is also plenty of outdoor seating at the front and rear of the pub. Outdoor dining is available during the summer months.

Sports are shown on the 42 inch plasma television; please see the upcoming events page for a list of related promotions. The pub darts team meet to play matches on Monday evenings, and occasional Saturdays.

The ‘Village Idiot’ fun multimedia pub quiz is every Sunday from 8.00pm. It is very light hearted, so come along and join in the fun!
